Herbert Holmgren was slow to take the kick. During this time The Shadows's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Niklas Lundqvist at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Svartvallstjärnens IF. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Von Axelson in the 6th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Cane in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Herbert Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Göran Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Göran Cane notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Shadows's Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Berndt Edelweiss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Von Axelson. In the 29th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Von Axelson to maneuver through the defense. The Shadows's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Göran Cane scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Basso, making the score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Henrik Hägert got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, The Shadows's Marcos Basso got control of the ball when Göran Cane tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of The Shadows booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niklas Lundqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when David Silva came free, but Linus Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute The Shadows were awarded a corner. Herbert Holmgren went to the cornerflag to take it. Svartvallstjärnens IF were furious when Alvar Vibjörnsson was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alvar Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 58th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Kvalfält. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tore Svartström hit a great ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Villiam Marklund replaced Tore Svartström. The Shadows made a substitution. Pawel Gibowski replaced Bo á Bø. In the 67th minute, Tore Svartström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Lindholm. 74 minutes into the match, The Shadows's Abdulkerim Türköne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Linus Ahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Göran Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkerim Türköne in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Vestlund. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Svartvallstjärnens IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
