Marcos Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Revis. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 32nd minute of play. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Herbert Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Holmgren who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Hílton Souza got a free kick in the 39th minute.

Ni Yu Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Berart got free with Marcos Basso in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Herbert Holmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 56th minute of the match. The Shadows's Marcos Basso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save The Shadows from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mats Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vykans Vikingar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
