In the 22nd minute, Özkan Kayaer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 35th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Svartvallstjärnens IF's zone, Torgny Landin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Ahlquist came out of the goal and Torgny Landin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Linus Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Ahlquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Åke Vestlund kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Landin to strike the kick off in the second half. Linus Ahlquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors.
