In the 23rd minute, Brian Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Norberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. GrassNuts FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Olof Hamnberg. When Pierre-Emile Højbjerg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the GrassNuts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Emile Højbjerg couldn't finish the play. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Hamnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitaliy van der Aa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Norberg saved spikarna from getting behind. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Olof Hamnberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Atakan Pepe was slow to take the kick. During this time spikarna's players had a chance to rest. spikarna's Atakan Pepe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Su Peng Jian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Bernt Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Sune Offendahl. spikarna made a substitution. Elof Hellsing replaced Olof Hamnberg. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sune Offendahl hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Pierre-Emile Højbjerg could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Lars Norberg however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Finnman in the 67th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
