With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell got control of the ball when Leonardo Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mats Hermansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hubert Fagrell. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Per Stenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Ekrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Leonardo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Fagrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Trancoso got free with Hubert Fagrell in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg. But to his dismay, Henry Fagerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Arne Stor came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Stor couldn't finish the play. Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Revis in the 57th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stenberg in the 59th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenberg in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 70th minute Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner. Fernan Berart went to the cornerflag to take it. Fernan Berart made a great header on Vykans Vikingar's corner, it was just that Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vykans Vikingar lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
