Gürol Atasan might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peng Jian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürol Atasan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Gürol Atasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürol Atasan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Su Peng Jian saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürol Atasan in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes GrassNuts FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredric Melander who took care of the corner kick. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Su Peng Jian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 28th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Vitaliy van der Aa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pål Sefastsson. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Gürol Atasan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Su Peng Jian. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Su Peng Jian should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson got control of the ball when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Finnman in the 53rd minute of the match. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Post, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrassNuts FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Carlos Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Su Peng Jian managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, National Team Cape-Verde's Mariusz Snow got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy van der Aa came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Alfred Pilarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrassNuts FC and the National Team Cape-Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Tevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peng Jian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. National Team Cape-Verde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
