With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Hagberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chen Ao Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Glanselius having to make a save. Leo Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Månsson in the 35th minute of play. Kurt Hamrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Aaron Glanselius made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Möllgren came free, but Leo Hagberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Månsson in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Filip Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chen Ao Fan was the one to do the kick off. Leo Hagberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
