Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Fernan Berart fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Basso, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Haglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vykans Vikingar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Herbert Holmgren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 64th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulkerim Türköne might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Ekrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdulkerim Türköne ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 71st minute. If Bengt-Arne Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulkerim Türköne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herbert Holmgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torgny Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Stål to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
