With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Williams in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Rönnöfors FF's Viktor Pettersson threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henry Fagerberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Hamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skövde AIK were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Keegan took the corner. In the 18th minute, Kevin Keegan made a precise shot to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 24th minute of play. Viktor Pettersson was a little too slow when Per Stenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 40th minute, Arne Stor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Chen Ao Fan made the kick off in the second half. Viktor Pettersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Knut Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Chen Ao Fan could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Magne Gunnarsson however easily saved by the left post. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krister Uggstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson stood somewhat misplaced when Chen Ao Fan came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Williams in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viktor Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenberg in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
