An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 17th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Möllgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Lidköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Lidköping:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SSC Ambrosini:s goal. When SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Expedito Doctore hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. SSC Ambrosini's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Malm in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Henrik Möllgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristoffer Västerstrand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leo Olsson's late challenge caught a SSC Ambrosini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Stefan Bogren got free in front of the goal in the 77th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aaron Glanselius was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kristoffer Västerstrand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrik Möllgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. It was beautiful to see Lidköping's Allan Björk in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to Lidköping getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Stig Söderquist hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristoffer Västerstrand. Kristoffer Västerstrand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. SSC Ambrosini's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
