Karl-Oskar Lundberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Williams in the 36th minute of play. Helge Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Viktor Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SJÖARED. When Gunnar Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SJÖARED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Hellström couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Ekegren to make the kick off. With a little luck, SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält got control of the ball when Chen Ao Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Springfält came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin. But to his dismay, Kurt Hamrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. SJÖARED's Ola Hansson was substituted for Tim Hellbom. In the 59th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Williams came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Ekegren in the 65th minute of the match.
