The supporters of The Shadows booed when Lunna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Figo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Bo á Bø got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Lunna IF's Vladimir Pinheiro got control of the ball when Niklas Lundqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Niklas Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Niklas Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunna IF's Vladimir Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Lundqvist got free with Vladimir Pinheiro in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimir Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Niklas Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Niklas Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vladimir Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Vladimir Pinheiro was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Niklas Lundqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niklas Lundqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 27th minute, Malte Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes of play, The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lunna IF's Vladimir Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 35th minute of play. Vladimir Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Niklas Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Luís Figo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Vladimir Pinheiro made a huge save. A collision led to Lunna IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Malte Berg hit a great ball. Niklas Lundqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Lunna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Lundqvist went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Hysén to make the kick off. Herbert Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vladimir Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Shadows's Slawomir Cisek was substituted for Berndt Edelweiss. Vladimir Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lunna IF's Vladimir Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by David Silva. Marcos Basso made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ian Berg sent off a good shot on target. The Lunna IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. The Shadows made a substitution. Pawel Gibowski replaced Bo á Bø. Niklas Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Sobral in the 89th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The The Shadows fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Berg got free with Marcos Basso in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
