An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Andreasson in the 30th minute of play forced Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Donecea. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Shadows eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
