Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erik Cantona got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Fernan Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Berart in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Berart in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Forseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Abdi Revis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 11th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Cantona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Cantona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Ekrot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martin Mutumba scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Forseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 24th minute of the match. Saga TF were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Laudrup took the corner. After 34 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brian Laudrup who took care of the corner kick. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Cantona got free with Marcus Ekrot in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Saga TF defense, Mats Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Forseth. The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Forseth should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Erik Cantona tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Nordhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdi Revis to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 52nd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Erik Cantona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saga TF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Berart was slow to take the kick. During this time Vykans Vikingar's players had a chance to rest. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Christoffer Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Tage Glanselius. Joachim Forseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mutumba in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Erik Cantona notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Forseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Hermansson in the 84th minute. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Mats Hermansson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joachim Forseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vykans Vikingar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
