Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 7th minute of play. The corner led Bajenland's Walter Jean-Baptiste to fire away a dangerous shot which Joachim Forseth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fresco Sesse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Joachim Forseth made a huge save. In the 13th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Laudrup to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Ifrim in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Brian Laudrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ifrim in the 22nd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fresco Sesse struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Joachim Forseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajenland. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Ifrim made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Cantona in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Hägg saved Bajenland from getting behind. In the 52ndth minute of the game Erik Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajenland's Emil Hägg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ola Nordhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Hägg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erik Cantona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Erik Cantona in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Hägg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saga TF were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Bajenland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Laudrup took the corner. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fresco Sesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jonathan Lindsten scored 1-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Forseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
