When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Haritz Trespuentes put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ronnie Hellström. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström got control of the ball when Radomir Gerlach tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kevin Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Skövde AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Keegan couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Chen Ao Fan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Keegan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sture Abrahamsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Gerlach got free with Ronnie Hellström in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haritz Trespuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ronnie Hellström made a huge save. Jerry Williams made a great header on Skövde AIK's corner, it was just that Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Dušan Vlahović struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ronnie Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nytäppet Fc. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Abrahamsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronnie Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haritz Trespuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde AIK's zone, Radomir Gerlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Abrahamsson having to interfere. Nytäppet Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordara Larrave was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 94th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nytäppet Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
