The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by spikarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was slow to take the kick. During this time GrassNuts FC's players had a chance to rest. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Hamnberg in the 15th minute of play. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Atakan Pepe hit a great ball. If Vitaliy van der Aa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Jouni Markkula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GrassNuts FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave spikarna the free kick. In the 35th minute, Jouni Markkula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 38th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Niklas Söderberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Hård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Su Peng Jian made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Kaj Hård sent off a good shot on target. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Atakan Pepe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Su Peng Jian. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Su Peng Jian should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atakan Pepe got free with Su Peng Jian in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Vitaliy van der Aa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led GrassNuts FC's Pierre-Emile Højbjerg to fire away a dangerous shot which Lars Norberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Finnman in the 83rd minute of play. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 85th minute of the match. Lars Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitaliy van der Aa's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Konrad Lewicki kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Jouni Markkula. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Hansson in the 95th minute of play. spikarna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
