The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 25th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Niklas Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Niklas Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Herbert Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Per Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Stenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Per Stenberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Basso skillfully saved the ball. The Shadows's David Silva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Per Tunström in the 62 minute of the game. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. Bastian Von Axelson in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Magne Gunnarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Bastian Von Axelson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Abdulkerim Türköne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Many of The Shadows's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. The Shadows may have spent more time on the ball, but Rönnöfors FF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
