With an all-out effort, Wargön's Anders Lundqvist threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artur Buba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 9th minute of the match. Bebben Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mikael Liberatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Lundqvist was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute of the match Wargön got a corner. Golden Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bayan Baye ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bayan Baye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anders Lundqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachariasz Sitko in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Bayan Baye dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anders Lundqvist, 1-0. Júlio Munhoz made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iwan Czeberowski immediately put the ball in play. Loco Durazno scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Tunberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 26th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Buba in the 29th minute of play. Artur Buba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anders Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joschi Hook in the 33rd minute of play. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Buba in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Liberatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Wargön's Ivar Siöberg was substituted for Iwan Czeberowski. After 61 minutes of play, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sören Tunberg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sören Tunberg, 3-2. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Walter Closet. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. 82 minutes into the game, one of Golden Lions FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Golden Lions FC:s Anders Lundqvist showed great skill when he stopped Bayan Baye:s penalty. After 84 minutes Golden Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bayan Baye who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Nils-Arne Nilsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sören Tunberg. That made the score 3-3 after 88 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Bebben Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Golden Lions FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
