Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Post, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Carlos Alberto Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Pál Kormos came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
