Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hampus Vall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Jörn Barck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Loco Durazno came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Magdziarz got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Barck came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match BK Tåfjutt got a corner. Golden Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Karol Magdziarz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The crowd rose to their feet as Burç Tokhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hampus Vall. That made the score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play.
