In the 4th minute, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Irinel Plop seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Irinel Plop the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Cosula-BTF- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Irinel Plop had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, one of FC Cosula-BTF-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Cosula-BTF-. FC Cosula-BTF-:s Ovidiu Marin showed great skill when he stopped Alf Kullgren:s penalty. In the 13th minute, Alin Bucur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Bogătan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Bădila. Aurelian Giurcă charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Giurcă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurelian Giurcă kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Forssell came free, but Ovidiu Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Dacian Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Jurăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alin Bucur's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Björn Ekegren firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 36th minute, Dacian Jurăscu made a precise shot to the right of Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Björn Ekegren. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Ersman in the 47th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Gabriel Bäckström got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Ciprian Gaiță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Ambrosini the free kick. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ciprian Gaiță hit a great ball. Alf Kullgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidiu Marin. FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute of the game Kasper Kristiansson made a throw-in which Olof Ersman played forward. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Petre Bogătan hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Valdemar Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ovidiu Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Alin Bucur. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dan Alupulesei was substituted for Alin Bucur. In the 66th minute, Alin Bucur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 69th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Dacian Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacian Jurăscu in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dacian Jurăscu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Jurăscu couldn't finish the play. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Alf Kullgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 82nd minute of play. Dacian Jurăscu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Björn Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. After some careless play in the SSC Ambrosini defense, Dacian Jurăscu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Ekegren. The SSC Ambrosini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Ekegren should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Cosula-BTF- fully deserved thier win.
