An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Filip Hosu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cleiton Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Filip Hosu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Hosu couldn't finish the play. With his leg Pedro Luís Fernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FC Cosula-BTF-'s Filip Hosu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute Dacian Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dacian Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Jurăscu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marzagão made a substitution. Serafim Reis replaced Alfredinho Quintal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filip Hosu was the one to do the kick off. When Cleiton Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marzagão's protests and gave Cleiton Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Cleiton Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Jurăscu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ovidiu Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marzagão. In the 69th minute, Dacian Jurăscu made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Jurăscu in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Fernandez saved Marzagão from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's César Rosa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dacian Jurăscu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
