Gugu Silva started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Filip Hosu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sergiu Lăzărescu hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Conrado Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ and the FC Cosula-BTF- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ! FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for FC Cosula-BTF-. Irinel Irimescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marquinhos Xavier. 0-2. If Dacian Jurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Dacian Jurăscu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33rd play minutes Dacian Jurăscu shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Marquinhos Xavier and just under the crossbar into goal. Marquinhos Xavier came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu. But to his dismay, Dacian Jurăscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. FC Cosula-BTF- were furious when Aurelian Giurcă was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of FC Cosula-BTF-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ:s goal. After the first half FC Cosula-BTF- were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dacian Jurăscu made the kick off in the second half. Marquinhos Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Cosula-BTF- defense, Pedro Paulo Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Marin. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Marin should have stopped the shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Silva in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Petre Bogătan hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dacian Jurăscu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marquinhos Xavier. That made the score 2-5 in the 65 minute of play. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Hosu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Filip Hosu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Hosu to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Jailson Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Marin skillfully saved the ball. The FC Cosula-BTF- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
