The referee showed Mitar Drobnič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Džerfi Škrinjar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Elias Damasceno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Damasceno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Koper's Bine Šercelj. Bine Šercelj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Luka Saje. If Elias Damasceno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Dionísio. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Koper's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time 卡納里尼奧 FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 40th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Damasceno to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bine Šercelj was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Elias Damasceno sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the game, Luka Saje was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 卡納里尼奧 FC the free kick. After 56 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Luka Saje. With a little luck, FC Koper's Bine Šercelj got control of the ball when Agostinho Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eliseu Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. After 71 minutes, Agostinho Guedes made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Santana to maneuver through the defense. 1-5 became the score in the 81st minute when Agostinho Guedes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bine Šercelj, 1-7. 93 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Bine Šercelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 卡納里尼奧 FC played a much better game than FC Koper and deserved their victory. The FC Koper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
