But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Rekawiczka couldn't finish the play. Roman Ranowiecki kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Fernandez saved Marzagão from getting behind. Iwo Dziedziak scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Zlatin Ibrahimović notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marzagão made a substitution. Gilberto Saraiva replaced Fabiano de Queiroz. Modlau made a substitution. Kelaino Mbappè replaced Iwo Dziedziak. Marzagão's Remo Borges was substituted for Válbson Fernandes.
