The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mac Fly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Björn Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when César Loureiro came free, but Björn Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Fly came free, but Björn Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half HollywooDogs were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SSC Ambrosini were furious when Torsten Soned was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in SSC Ambrosini fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Mete Gøl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Björn Ekegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Mete Gøl slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. HollywooDogs's Wellington Berger was substituted for Ulisses Leal. 72 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gøl came free, but Björn Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Santana in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute HollywooDogs were awarded a corner. Celsinho Couto went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren got control of the ball when Mac Fly tried to sneak it across the goal line. HollywooDogs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
