Thanks to some nice moves Róbert Benkó could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Carlos Miguel however easily saved by the left post. Kylian Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráuzio Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Róbert Benkó put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Miguel. Kylian Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carlos Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kylian Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Benkó in the 66th minute of play. Carlos Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Benkó in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to GRÊMIO getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Roger Machado hit a great ball. Armada's Filomeno Igon was substituted for Róbert Benkó. The supporters of Armada booed when GRÊMIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Amine Barka hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Igon in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Miguel saved GRÊMIO from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Miguel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Henry came free, but Carlos Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filomeno Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Kylian Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Igon took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Miguel. Carlos Miguel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Filomeno Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by He Wei Feng to maneuver through the defense.
