Thanks to some nice moves Arí Terra could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Eskil Kullander however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Fusk&Bygg AB's George Odman got a free kick in the 19th minute. Roger Machado's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Eskil Kullander - 2-0 was put on the score board in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Arí Terra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 26 minutes into the match, Fusk&Bygg AB's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Gai came free, but Eskil Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GRÊMIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Roberto Fontes put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Kullander. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Fontes in the 57th managed to get into a good position.
