After taking down the ball on Internet XAire's corner Guido Abeita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Duardo quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Nacho Villarroel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Omar Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinand Boucher hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vancouver Reds:s Omar Duardo showed great skill when he stopped Guido Abeita:s penalty. 28 minutes into the game, Guido Abeita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Duardo. Guido Abeita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the game, Adam Bareiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Omar Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vancouver Reds's Ferdinand Boucher got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frances Grossman in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliks Osowski saved Internet XAire from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Perico in the 45th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Bareiro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Adam Bareiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internet XAire's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Bareiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Wiley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
