After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Måns Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrlands Athen's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Sandberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Olgierd Balonek hit a great ball. Anderson Trigo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 15th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jerzy Augustyn hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Fabelo got free with Safet Hands in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Fae Folgore's Olgierd Balonek got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Filcho Slivkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderson Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Måns Sandberg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anderson Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38thth minute of the game Måns Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fae Folgore's Anderson Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huang Fei Ting in the 42nd minute of play forced Fae Folgore's goalkeeper Anderson Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Huang Fei Ting's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anderson Trigo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Fidencio during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Augustyn to make the kick off. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Fabelo in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Norrlands Athen! Måns Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Gilbert Hermansson replaced Måns Sandberg. Fae Folgore's Dariusz Kluczyk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacinto da Silveira in the 84 minute of the game. Anderson Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Bergfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Dariusz Kluczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Latocha in the 89th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Norrlands Athen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
