Macnelly Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Baxter De Hond made a huge save. A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Norbert Van den Gans hit a great ball. The corner was taken by Kurt de Rudder in the 30th minute. The corner led to de belletrekkers's Aurelian Barboni getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 陆西迅 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baxter De Hond. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's George Van Impe got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Van Impe in the 41st minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
