Feliks Osowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Vernescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Internet XAire defense, Francisc Bîndean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Osowski. The Internet XAire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliks Osowski should have stopped the shot. Iacob Vernescu scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliks Osowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Bareiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 37th playminute. BVB 09's Moritz Kran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bareiro in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 97 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Răduța. The BVB 09 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BVB 09 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
