Sérgio Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Måns Sandberg. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Lilja in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the game Ivar Carlsson made a throw-in which Einar Lilja played forward. Sérgio Urbano made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Måns Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. Sérgio Urbano came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Norrlands Athen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Slivkov in the 35th minute. Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio Urbano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Måns Sandberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Urbano. That made the score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Sérgio Urbano made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Sundin made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Måns Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Urbano was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Sérgio Urbano came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 55th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 57th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Gilbert Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Lebron in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Calle Bergfelt notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano. Sérgio Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Norrlands Athen were awarded a corner. Filcho Slivkov went to the cornerflag to take it. Sérgio Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filcho Slivkov in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Einar Lilja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA VIOLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrlands Athen the free kick. In the 90th minute of the match Filcho Slivkov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Urbano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Norrlands Athen had won after a very even match.
