Durval Meireles started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Meireles came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Neto to maneuver through the defense. Lon Lanteigne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Durval Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, BRASIL.Sp's Caio Penha got control of the ball when Eustaquio Jaizki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off. Lon Lanteigne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. BRASIL.Sp's Percy Cearense was substituted for Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos.
