In the 9th minute Tarkan Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter's Tarkan Demirci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Grep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Tarkan Demirci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarkan Demirci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Delmar Beila threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lirarnas Lag's Luo Gang Zhan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rune Grep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olgierd Mnich in the 19th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Delmar Beila in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lirarnas Lag's Sven-Åke Hjelm. KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter's Gunnar Bennet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Axelsson in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Tarkan Demirci came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Lirarnas Lag's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Akif Peyami took the corner. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Erik Norberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rune Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarkan Demirci in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tarkan Demirci made the kick off in the second half.
