Álvaro Gaúcho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Erling Jeilman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Paulo Paraíba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Knut Lidbjerg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Jeilman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nildo Berger scored 5-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erling Jeilman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calesso FC's Hermínio Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 96th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Erling Jeilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calesso FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
