Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Hanot in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Comunicaciones's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willy Reitoft was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Drik's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Comunicaciones's goalie and right to Denis Schubring. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Comunicaciones's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 24th minute, Gunvald Mitens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Racing Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Racing Comunicaciones a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Primeiro Mancina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt. 1-1. Faustino Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to interfere. Laureano Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunvald Mitens in the 39th minute. FC Drik were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Racing Comunicaciones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Willy Reitoft took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Drik's corner Willy Reitoft fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laureano Belasko quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Comunicaciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Hanot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Kobbeltvedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernst Barskov to make the kick off. Hemming Glykær struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Laureano Belasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Drik. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Hanot in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Racing Comunicaciones's Godfredo Emmanuel got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Hemming Glykær ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Belasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, FC Drik's Hemming Glykær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Belasko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calvin Townsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Belasko having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Barskov in the 91st minute of play forced Racing Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Laureano Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Comunicaciones's Rodolfo Hanot got a free kick in the 91st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Ted Kobbeltvedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Many of Racing Comunicaciones's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Racing Comunicaciones may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Drik were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
