But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Giardino couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Drik defense, Walter Giardino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. The FC Drik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Kobbeltvedt should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Alexis Alexandris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Giardino in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Alexis Alexandris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Drik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grigoris Kornaros was slow to take the kick. During this time tHe SOnS of rAGnar's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Grigoris Kornaros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ted Kobbeltvedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Giardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Alexandris in the 30th minute of play. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Grigoris Kornaros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of tHe SOnS of rAGnar booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayvaz Taşkesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Denis Schubring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, one of FC Drik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Drik. FC Drik:s Ted Kobbeltvedt showed great skill when he stopped Alexis Alexandris:s penalty. Ted Kobbeltvedt came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino. But to his dismay, Walter Giardino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Giardino made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Walter Giardino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ted Kobbeltvedt. The goal made the score 0-4. 59 minutes into the match, Walter Giardino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Giardino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. José Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Townsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Giardino came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Kobbeltvedt was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Walter Giardino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ted Kobbeltvedt, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Giardino got free with Ted Kobbeltvedt in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After 91 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Alexis Alexandris made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Kobbeltvedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hemming Glykær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over tHe SOnS of rAGnar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Drik throughout the match.
