When Neville Garner fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caatiba MZC's protests and gave Neville Garner a yellow card for diving instead. Franklin Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gianluigi Orange made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 24th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. 35 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Nunes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Coice de Mula's Bobbi Eshammer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Bobbi Eshammer got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Niceto Ihazintu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gianluigi Orange was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Snorri De Hond made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Snorri De Hond kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ergo Muro. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. Coice de Mula's Romário Custódio was substituted for Franklin Moraes. Coice de Mula's Cristo Ospin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fahl Figueroa, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Gianluigi Orange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Romário Custódio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Niceto Ihazintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Orange. Coice de Mula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Ihazintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Olle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluigi Orange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Cristo Ospin got a free kick in the 88th minute. Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro got control of the ball when Romário Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luke Olle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ergo Muro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
