The referee ignored Real Club Fuengirola's protests and gave Arrosko Treviño a yellow card for diving instead. Arrosko Treviño hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Real Club Fuengirola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Venancio Isusko scored to the left of an out of position Oscar Iniesta, making the score, 1-0. Real Club Fuengirola's Oscar Iniesta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Fuengirola from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Albatros's Venancio Isusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Iniesta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Albatros's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rey came free, but Sixto Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Real Club Fuengirola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabon Macías to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Albatros getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Everardo Pello hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Enaut Vagrande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Pancho. Albatros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enaut Vagrande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Real Club Fuengirola's Oscar Iniesta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Fuengirola from getting a goal against them. When Samuel Rey came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Real Club Fuengirola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Rey couldn't finish the play. Maximino Min came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oscar Iniesta could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Samuel Rey made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rey in the 53rd minute of play forced Albatros's goalkeeper Sixto Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Qwinton hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Isusko in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Iniesta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sixto Pancho was a little too slow when Samuel Rey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-3. Venancio Isusko struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Oscar Iniesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albatros. In the 78th match minute, Real Club Fuengirola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Rey to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Albatros's Everardo Pello got a free kick in the 80th minute. Venancio Isusko might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Iniesta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Isusko ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Rey in the 92nd minute of the match.

Real Club Fuengirola were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Albatros's much stronger midfield.
