Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Oakley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Baratta in the 29th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Bernardo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Victor Otsando got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ferrari's Lars Vallengren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Lupo, made in the 63rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Lilywhites defense, Gergely Bollobás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Oakley. The Lilywhites fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Oakley should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Modesto Oakley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Oakley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Lima made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cosimo Michelini sent off a good shot on target. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Carlos Duarte replaced Patrick Angelsø. S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, Lilywhites was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Michelini to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Oakley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Gergely Bollobás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Oakley. Lilywhites's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergely Bollobás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The S.C. Ferrari fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Many of Lilywhites's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lilywhites may have spent more time on the ball, but S.C. Ferrari were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
