CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Eanes in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Llorienzo in the 19th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Arnaldo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudemiro Tristão came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen. But to his dismay, Teofilo Kelemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore got control of the ball when Celso Eiró tried to sneak it across the goal line. GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Kelemen in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Eiró in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dušan Vlahović to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Llorienzo got free with Claudemiro Tristão in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
