A wasted opportunity for Lex Academy. 14 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Miloslav Krupička came free, but Gregor Rinzema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lex Academy from getting a goal against them. Co Fuchs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tomáš Houdek made a huge save. Lex Academy's Fausto Castulo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lindi Zegers in the 19 minute of the game. In the 20thth minute of the game Bernardo Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lindi Zegers hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Novaes came free, but Gregor Rinzema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Co Fuchs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomáš Houdek came out and tried to block the shot, but Co Fuchs slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miloslav Krupička in the 31st minute of play. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Zandberg in the 33rd minute of the match. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Xiang Xuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Digitale Dribbelaars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Blank in the 36th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lex Academy's goalie and right to Abraham Zandberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lex Academy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek got control of the ball when Zhao Xiang Xuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregor Rinzema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Novaes's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Andreas Israel fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Digitale Dribbelaars's protests and gave Andreas Israel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Andreas Israel hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Novaes to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Gregor Rinzema had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Novaes. Bernardo Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregor Rinzema having to make a save. With a little luck, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema got control of the ball when Bernardo Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregor Rinzema was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Novaes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play.
