The tension between the Locademia and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Enzo Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boguslaw Makarewicz struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ciriaco Olivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilton Brito got free with Ciriaco Olivar in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciriaco Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Locademia's goal looked a bit too open when Benson Beverley came free, but Ciriaco Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Baldomero Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Richie's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Richie helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Makarewicz got free with Ciriaco Olivar in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
