Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Zeng Ting Xing notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar. Nistor Maghiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dragomir Marchovski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dragomir Marchovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Shearer in the 18th minute. Santiago Meruendano charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Meruendano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santiago Meruendano hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Union Y Progreso F.C. booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Alexe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Ting Xing in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Costante Segarra came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Zeng Ting Xing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Shearer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dragomir Marchovski. That made the score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. In the 36th minute Santiago Meruendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Zeng Ting Xing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Union Y Progreso F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeng Ting Xing to make the kick off. A hard shot 56 in the game by Zeng Ting Xing from a close distance when the talented Nistor Maghiar managed to make a qualified save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players were relieved. Vlad Tepes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Santiago Meruendano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nistor Maghiar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costante Segarra in the 77th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Costante Segarra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nistor Maghiar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio Cordarell was slow to take the kick. During this time Union Y Progreso F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. León Rapela made a great header on Union Y Progreso F.C.'s corner, it was just that Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar managed to reach the ball for a save. 89 minutes into the match, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Şantău came free, but Dragomir Marchovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
