Spectators: 2844 (Terracing: 2134, Seating: 654, VIP seats: 56) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomáš Požgaj got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uwe Septinius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Los Liquisue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Pekarík took the corner. The corner led AFK Petržalka's Peter Pekarík to fire away a dangerous shot which Uwe Septinius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Liquisue FC's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Požgaj came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hermengildo Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Acevedo in the 25th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Federico Insúa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Liquisue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tomáš Požgaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 35th minute of the match. Tomáš Požgaj struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Uwe Septinius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. Tomáš Požgaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Uwe Septinius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Insúa in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Insúa was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Seno made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Richard Zedník however managed to control. After 54 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uwe Septinius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Požgaj in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Septinius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uwe Septinius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Liquisue FC's Teobaldo Xabel was substituted for Federico Insúa. AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák was substituted for Tomáš Požgaj. After a defensive mix-up in Los Liquisue FC's zone, Michal Hudák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Septinius came out of the goal and Michal Hudák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Xabat hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Hudák in the 92nd minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uwe Septinius was left in no man's land by his defense there!

AFK Petržalka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Liquisue FC for a fine match.
