An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Bot in the 8th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Holmkjar Hotspurs from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club El Progreso the free kick. Konrad Reumert kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet got control of the ball when Cleto Cordaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Elmar Lexbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Lexbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristan Nordlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Streyder, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Lexbo came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club El Progreso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bent Streyder was slow to take the kick. During this time Holmkjar Hotspurs's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bent Streyder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjamin Tino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 33rd minute of the match. Tristan Nordlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Sigfrid Eildorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Elmar Lexbo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Tino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indiana Jones to make the kick off. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Cordaro in the 53rd minute of the match. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. Cleto Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Steinwart got free with Benjamin Tino in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Nordlet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cleto Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Steinwart hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Adolfo Fidensio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristan Nordlet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Magnus Steinwart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Benjamin Tino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Ove Makenhauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Tino came out of the goal and Ove Makenhauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Steinwart came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club El Progreso had won after a very even match.
