Cai Yue Guang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Sulo Montaña succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cai Yue Guang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Laurențiu Loghin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 37 in the game by Sulo Montaña from a close distance when the talented Cai Yue Guang managed to make a qualified save. Ninjas in Pyjamas's players were relieved. The supporters of LOI booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Cosor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ninjas in Pyjamas from getting a goal against them. LOI's Özgür Özbay got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Păvăloae to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özbay in the 52nd minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Cai Yue Guang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Veli Ülgü. Cai Yue Guang came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Sulo Montaña. But to his dismay, Sulo Montaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cai Yue Guang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. LOI made a substitution. Eriberto Segio replaced Kaan Öztanır. 65 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Cai Yue Guang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LOI booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Cai Yue Guang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Clementi in the 81st minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, LOI's Cabbar Dinçay made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cai Yue Guang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cai Yue Guang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 95th minute of play.

LOI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
