The referee ignored GKS Milenium's protests and gave Jan Zbydniewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes GKS Milenium got a freekick which was hit by Jan Zbydniewski. Esen Sanal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Sienkowski in the 94th minute.

S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
